Simplicity

"The lazy curling fog,
The enduring pain that flows.
One boy's silly dream to love and protect,
His desire to always make it go.
He chose this path of destruction,
Nobody to lean.
Yet when anyone else needs a heart,
It somehow ends up being him.
He loved the world far too much,
He kept his pain all sprung up inside.
Until one day a spark blew him up,
And nearly took his life.

One stupid mistake, a fatal flaw.
Yet in a second, it took all.
A hard built tower, a proud castle.
But a word knocked it down.
Love was elusive to him,
Never had a say.
But one good day when it hit him,
Cupid shot at the wrong face.
Dregded him in hellish nights,
Grounded him in devilish days.
He needed to be strong and he really tried,
Yet that love still burned him inside.
He done all he could,
He knows of her effort and pains.
He tried to get her back,
But still it was all in vain.
Now things have changed,
He watches high above all.
He plays among the grasses,
And disdains the excusers.
Another baby who learnt to crawl,
Just a lover who tried giving his all.
A man's vow to heal,
And shame those that let themselves fall.

Now that path became a highway,
Not to heaven but to hell.
Eyes closed in faith,
They know where it'll lead.
Because the mighty isn't blind,
Justice isn't dead.
A belief that one day he'll be justified,
And his reddress shall come to light.
His grievances shall be repaid,
And returned everything he lost.
He watches the world amused,
With his dearests by his side.
There's but fun in solitarity,
But there's the peace he always wanted.
Even if the world bears on him now,
He'd never let up.
A lesson learnt in disgust,
But everything now belongs to the past.
A lover's life strayed to the fore,
Yet a believer's heart strapped to the floor.

There's no arrogance in a crumbling wall,
Just like when everyone falls.
But every boy and ever girl,
One day hopes to find their life.
The one to walk the rest of their journey,
Not minding who they were.
But really looking to tomorrow,
And willingness to give their all."

And yes. I've just caught feelings...and to whoever it might be concerned, i'm scared... But hell i'm ready to take another leap of faith.
